Our Values

Hope, Health & Wholeness for All

Mission: Chain of Truth is inspired by the Great Commission given to Christ’s disciples in the book of Matthew chapter twenty-eight with an emphasis of sharing a saving knowledge of the Bible and giving people the information they need to live healthy happy lives. In order to prepare for the imminent return of Jesus Christ, this teaching and healing ministry focuses on building together “links” of truth from the Scriptures as they apply to practical godliness. The Biblical principles coupled together, as links in a “chain”, will help individuals form a strong heuristic framework for spiritual, physical and emotional well-being. United under the banner of the three angels messages found in the book of Revelation chapter fourteen, these links of Scriptural truths paired together with scientific evidence-based resources will give people the information they need to live optimal lives.

The Missions Team: Our mission volunteers and leadership are men and women who are large-hearted, inspired with enthusiasm at the cross of Calvary, cultivated and self-sacrificing. Our aim is to work as Christ worked for the salvation of humanity. Our mission is to get the light of present truth to every person including the young and the old. Saving souls is our first priority. Our desire is to see people’s lives transformed by the gospel. We would like everyone to share in the hope of Christ’s imminent return, improve their health, and experience wholeness in service to God and humanity united with Jesus Christ and the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Our Values: We aim to exemplify sixteen values that guide our work.

   1. Service to the Lord

God requires reverence, respect, love for Him and wholehearted service. These type of workers are the type to serve Him day and night.

(Exodus 9:1, 13, Deuteronomy 6:13, 10:12, Luke 4:8, Romans 12:11, Revelation 7:13-15)

   2. Commitment in Purpose and Labour

God desires whole heart commitment to His work. God promises that with commitment to Him there will be success.

(Psalms 37:5 Proverbs 16:3)

   3. Joy

Service to God is not supposed to be a mournful experience. God wants us to serve Him with gladness even in the most difficult times. Often, we experience a lack of joy in working for God because we forget to ask for His help. Happiness is found in labouring together with God and trusting in Him. Being kind to people is necessary for happiness. Also, obeying all of God’s commandments, including the 7th Day Sabbath, is needed to be happy.

(Psalms 100:2, 146:5, Proverbs 14:21, 16:20, 29:18, John 16:24)

   4. Integrity

Following strict principles of morality are required so that God will bless the workers and the mission. Whether in times of ease or in times of difficulty and perplexity, remaining obedient to God is required.

(Psalms 17:3, 25:21, 41:12, Proverbs 11:3, Job 2:9-10, Daniel 1:8)

  5. Loyalty to God & Respect for Authorities

God commands that we worship Him. God requires our time, money and attention. Chain of Truth acknowledges that God and His Word is above all and as servants of the Lord we are to obey Him first. Also, God requires that we first submit ourselves to Him and secondly submit to authorities as long as what they require is in harmony with the Scriptures.

(Exodus 20:3-5, 36:3, Leviticus 27:30, Malachi 3:6-8, Psalms 119:2, 10, 34, Romans 13:1, Titus 3:1)

  6. Fervency in Spirit

i. Earnestness in working for God is a requisite for successful service to God.

(Romans 12:11)

  7. Diligence

Earnest labour and persevering effort are important for successful ministry. The Bible emphasizes that labour must be mingled with faith, love, patience and hope in Jesus Christ’s imminent return.

(Proverbs 10:4, 21:5, 22:29, 1 Thessalonians 1:3, Romans 12:11, 2 Peter 3:13,14)

  8. Industry

Success will come with the industrious use of our time and resources.

(1 Kings 11:28, Proverbs 10:4, Romans 12:11)

9. Prosperity

i. God wants us to prosper both in spirit and in health. In order to do well and thrive, we must obey God and order our ways by the Word of God.

(Genesis 39:3, 23, Deuteronomy 29:9, 3 John 1:2, Matthew 4:4)

  10. Trust

God promises that when we rely on Him, He will bless our work and save us. (Psalms 4:5, 18:2, 37:5, 118:8,9, 125:1)

(Psalms 4:5, 18:2, 37:5, 118:8,9, 125:1)

  11. Grace

Divine influence upon our hearts is needed for effective service to God. Grace is needed to purify God’s workers from sin and selfishness and to motivate them to do good works. God gives us gifts that we are to use in His service according to the grace He has given us.

(Titus 2:11-14, Hebrews 12:28, Romans 12:6)

  12. Faith

The Bible teaches that faith is believing in God. However, this belief is rooted and grounded in trusting God. In whatever we do, we must have faith in Jesus Christ because without faith it is impossible to please God. Also, God’s works in our lives is according to our faith. God gives us faith and our works will be in proportion to the measure of faith. We must also ask God, in faith, to help us. It is imperative that we ask for more faith, and He will give us more faith. Our faith works by love.

(Hebrews 11:1,6, Matthew 9:29, Romans 12:3,6, James 1:6, Matthew 7:7, John 14:13-14, 2 Corinthians 10:15, Galatians 5:6)

  13. Love

God counsels us to do all things in love. In love for who? In love to God and our fellow human beings. God teaches us to love and bless those that persecute and hate us.

(1 Corinthians 16:14, Mark 12:28-31, Matthew 5:43-48)

 14. Hope

Chain of Truth emphasizes the Christian’s hope in the glorious return of Jesus Christ who redeemed us from sin. Jesus Christ is going to come and resurrect those who have died in righteousness and give the righteous living immortality at His second coming.

(Titus 2:13-14, 1 Timothy 1:1, 1 Peter 1:3-5, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17)

   15. Peace

Jesus comforts us with these words “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27). In service to God, there need not ever be fear. Jesus promises us a peace that surpasses all understanding. Even in the worst of times, the servant of Christ can rest assured that Jesus saves to the uttermost.

(Philippians 4:7, Hebrews 7:25)

   16. Justice

Chain of Truth acknowledges God’s perfect justice as being part of His character. Also, God is perfectly just and will reward people fairly based on their works. God expects His servants to uphold justice and to support that which is right according to Scripture.

(Exodus 33:19, 34:5-7, Job 37:23,24, Matthew 16:27, 1 Chronicles 18:14, Psalms 82:3, Proverbs 21:3, Deuteronomy 8:3).
